Live wedding paintings that feel personal, timeless, and just a little bit extra — created right in front of your eyes as your day unfolds.
You’re off living your best day — marrying your person, hugging your grandma, laughing at the best man’s roast — while just a few feet away, your love story is coming to life on canvas.
Live wedding painting isn’t just fun, interactive entertainment (though your guests will be hooked). It’s a future heirloom. A one-of-a-kind keepsake that says, this is us, long after the dress is boxed up and the flowers have faded.
Ookie dokie, we just met, but if we’re going to talk about the most romantic day of your love story, you should know this: I believe you deserve more than pretty photos. You deserve to remember your wedding day through photos, videos, and a bold piece of artwork that your kids (and grandkids) will grow up knowing your wedding story by heart, even if they weren’t there.
I think about that a lot when I’m at my easel. Live wedding paintings are special because your guests get to watch this generational keepsake come to life on canvas — becoming part of your story — as you’re off soaking up every laugh, every toast, and the way your best friend double-fists tacos on the dance floor. These are the good bits, the memories between the brushstrokes, and I love catching them while you’re busy living them.
And that’s what life’s all about! After all, who would’ve guessed a military school girl like me would end up getting to paint love stories for a living?! Fueled by coffee, faith, a love for life, and ADHD that already has me itching to break out the brush, I’m here for the fun-loving couples who want something that feels like them — playful, meaningful, and anything but stuffy. I’m here because your story matters, and it’s worth painting.

Ookie dokie, so how does a live wedding painting come together? Let’s just say it takes a little planning, a lot of heart, and a painter who’s paying attention to all the in-between moments that make your day special.
Once you’re all danced out I’ll take the painting back to the studio for final details, touch-ups, and a protective varnish to make it last for generations. You’ll receive your finished piece within 3 months — fully sealed, vibrant, and ready to hang.
After the Party
I’ll arrive early to set up my easel, scope out the venue, and get a head start on the background details. While you say ‘I do,’ I’ll be painting live for up to 6 hours.
Send me your engagement photos and I’ll create a rough sketch of the composition to make sure we’re aligned.
Inquire
Send me an inquiry and we’ll hop on a quick call so I can hear about your vision, venue, and any special details you want painted in (pets, heirlooms, nods to your favorite fandom — I’m here for it).

Hired Virginia to run 4 sessions of paint and sip at our alumni reunion weekend. She designed a custom image for our alums to paint, and made sure that our guests had a great experience. I look forward to working with Virginia again in the future.

I ordered two kitty portraits and they were great likenesses, and delivered on time for my wife’s Birthday. Virginia really loves doing this artwork, and it shows. Just do it, you won’t be sorry.

I wanted to find a present for my brother that was unique. He's very hard to shop for. Virginia worked with me on a design that captured his dog's perfectly set in a background that matched his style exactly. Worth every penny!

Art is a Process....
tHEY SAY AN aRTIST IS THEIR OWN WORST CRITIC. i CAN AFFIRM THAT TO BE TRUE. aND SO, I WON'T DELIVER A PAINTING UNTIL i AM HAPPY WITH IT. TILL IT'S THE BEST IT CAN BE.
Every package includes the same personalized experience — from the sketch to the varnish. The only thing you’re picking? How big you want to go. I offer five canvas sizes, but these three seem to be the crowd favorites.
Want to sneak in a few extra faces (like Grandma, your pup, or your flower girl squad)? Let’s do it! I charge $100 per added person.
Want to make things extra fun and surprise your guests with a personalized keepsake? I have a phone full of professional artist friends who can be included in your package to sketch and watercolor 5x7 portraits that they can take home that night. It's interactive, memorable, and makes cocktail hour even more fun. (I can also do just the guest portraits myself, but I just can’t do both at once!)
Kinda leaning more towards guest portraits (and a sketch for yourself)? I offer this at showers, welcome dinners, and as a standalone wedding service too - no live painting required.
I have a passport and I’m ready to take my easel wherever you envision yourself saying “I do”! I keep my travel fee simple, just let me know where we’re going.

Virginia was such a sweetheart to work with and really captured what I wanted! I originally reached out wanting her to create a beautiful drawing of my husband and I and she went above and beyond. I also reached out to her to do a live painting for my wedding which was a HIT with all my guests! They loved watching the moment chosen by her come to life on canvas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We hired Virginia for our wedding in July. We had a few unique requests due to our interests. Virginia was able to incorporate everything and the creation of the piece was as integral to the wedding as the DJ. She was wonderful to work with and would highly recommend her to everyone!

I was dying to have a live painter at my fall Wedding. I found Virginia with a little help of the internet. She was wonderful. She responded quickly and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Virginia was lively and energetic and took the time to engage with guests. She even took some action photos which I appreciated after as I anxiously awaited by professional photos. Her portrait was so cute and really captured the days vibe. You won't regret her as a vendor!
Ha! Ookie, let’s back up. Live wedding paints are exactly what they sound like. It’s when a professional artist (that’s me!) paints a real-time scene from your wedding while your day unfolds. It’s part interactive entertainment and part one-of-a-kind keepsake.
Guests love watching the process. You get a one-of-a-kind painting. And long after the music fades, you’ll have a piece of your love story you can actually hang on the wall.
At least 3 months ahead is ideal, so I can sketch, prep, and block off your date. (And if your wedding’s sooner — ask anyway! I might have wiggle room and I’m a huge believer in ‘it never hurts to ask’.)
How far in advance should we book?
Absolutely. I love personal touches! From pets to heirlooms to fandom Easter eggs, I’m in. Just let me know during our consultation call.
Can you include our cat / grandma / Disney Cinderella Carriage in the painting?
Not at all! I’m based in Windsor, CT, but I’ll travel wherever your love story takes you — near, far, wherever you are….or full-on destination wedding.
Not quite. I paint live for up to 6 hours onsite, then take it back to the studio for finishing details and protective varnish. You’ll get the final piece within 3 months, fully sealed and ready to hang. You’ll be able to see the background and probably the start of your bodies.
Yes! It adds an extra interactive layer that your guests will talk about all night long. Just know that if you want both a live wedding painting and guest portraits, I’ll only be doing the painting. One of the blessings of being the head of the latest creative entrepreneurs groups in Connecticut is that I have made tons of professional artist friends who can be included in your package to do the guest portraits while I handle your painting! I also offer guest portraits as a stand-alone service. Let me know which way you’re leaning toward, and we can chat about artistic style, your vision, and what works best for you big day!
